From the Airport
For who arrives by car from the Airport G. Galilei of Pisa, the Airport A. Vespucci of Florence, or from all the other Tuscan cities, must drive along the motorway A11 Firenze-Mare/E76; from the Airport G. Marconi will have the chance of taking the freeway S.S 64-Porrettana or the motorways A14 and the A1/E35. Then joining the A11/E76 junction one will have to come out the tollgate ’Pistoia’ and then follow the indications for the centre and the Hospital ’Ospedale del Ceppo’, too.
From the motorway - Exit Pistoia
Left from the tollgate, keep to the right anf follow the signs to the centre, procede along the junction and at the roundabout keep to the left sofar in the direction of the centre. Take the third exit SP9/Via Bonellina, at the stop turn left into SS66/SR66/Via Cesare Battisti, then keep to the right, senso di marcia obbligato; passed Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci, turn right into Piazza della Resistenza. At the roundabout turn left into Viale Arcadia and follow for a few meters straight on, then turn left into Vicolo Arcadia, at the stop turn right in Piazza dei Servi, flanking on the Church ’Chiesa della S.S Annunziata’. Going ahead along Via dei Baroni, take the opposite alley Via del Fiore, finally at the stop turn left into Via Buonfanti. (1.86411 miles, 00h10)
From the Railway Station
For who is without car and arrives in Italy by airplane, may choose to move easily by train, through the line Firenze SMN-Pisa, or Bologna-Firenze, get off at the station of Pistoia and:
- take a taxi (Ph. N. +39 0573 534444)
- take the bus line 1 (starting point in Piazza D. Alighieri in front of the Station/stop in Piazza San Bartolomeo) for the timetable connect towww.copitspa.it/frame_servizi.htm
- walking along Via XX Settembre, straight along Via Cino, once got to Max Mara shop, turn right and take Via Cavour as far as the junction. Then turn left into Via Filippo Pacini and take the second on the right; move along Via San Bartolomeo as far as Piazza San Bartolomeo, keep to the left and walking along the alley Vicolo Ombroso one will find perpendicularly Via Buonfanti and there opposite the site of our Relais (0.621371 miles, 00h10).
